Townsend Bay Music Festival:
Lost in the Shuffle is a band name that has been around for almost 30 years. I use it to honor my friend and band co-founder John Busham, who is no longer with us. Every band I’ve been in since John’s passing is called “Lost in the Shuffle”. Through the years the band has included many fine musicians. As gigs arise the band grows and shrinks to meet the situation.
The current band is myself, Gerry Sherman, Glen Hellman and for the Townsend Bay Music Festival we are joined by upright bass player (and real estate agent) Bruce Cannavaro. I play the harmonica, guitar and sing. Gerry Sherman sings, writes and plays guitar. Glen Hellman also plays bass. In the Townsend Bay Music Festival we will be playing acoustic style Country Blues and Ballads.
The performers stage will be home to smaller acoustic type acts, while the bands on the mainstage are tearing down and setting up. This way we have non-stop music all day long! It’s going to be a great day of fine music, food & fun. The local musicians and bands will highlight the festival, but our true purpose is to raise money to help support Bayside Housing and Services.
